Another Day, Another Person says, [This]

You know you who you look like...

The other day, I got an email from someone with the subject line, "Quick question for Pac." The body of the email read:

Hi Pac,

How does it sound? Let's talk it over?

Take care and be safe,

Johnnie.

The sender's email address was [email protected].

The message was like a B2B email even lacking personalization and relevance. Surprisingly still a struggle for B2C and B2B marketers alike who rely heavily on algorithms and automations to reach potential customers and clients, marketers often miss the mark entirely. In the quest for efficiency, they forget that genuine human connections are irreplaceable. Instead of creating meaningful interactions, they send out generic, impersonal messages that can feel intrusive or even disrespectful, much like the one I received.

The message reminded me of contacts that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would get while he lived in Chicago or the FBI’s years-long surveillance campaign, which included sending King a letter suggesting that he commit suicide.

I'm not sure who this Johnnie Little is at all or even how ‘Little man’ might believe their algorithm suggested it best to address me as Pac.

Personally, I've forbidden my friends from ever speaking his name in my presence — there is a saying — words have power.

There were years I did not even listen to his music following the time spent at Artist Resurrection studio remaking 2pac’s music. I was so inebriated by the gallons of Hennessy I would have put D’usse out of business. I was so in tune, I believed the words and lyrics I re-recorded “Like what they think I’m walking around with some keys in my pocket or something? I know y’all got me in the scope, I know y’all know — this is Thug Life, baby. y’all got me under surveillance, but I’m all knowing.”

Why do you think they chose that the film be titled: ‘All Eyez on Me’?
