In a move straight out of the hip-hop petty playbook, DJ Mustard shared an eyebrow-raising Instagram DM exchange with fellow producer Boi-1da after Mustard's co-produced track "Not Like Us" hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Kendrick Lamar's West Coast anthem is having a moment, but not everyone is vibing with it — namely, Boi-1da.

Mustard first posted a celebratory story highlighting the song’s chart-topping success. Boi-1da slid into the DMs to acknowledge the track’s production value, saying, "Good sh*t. Beat hard AF."
