X Data Breach Exposes 200M+ Emails
Massive Leak Raises Security Concerns

Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter, has allegedly suffered a major data breach, exposing over 200 million users' email addresses. The leak, discovered by cybersecurity firm SafetyDetectives on a hacker forum, includes account metadata, such as creation dates, locations, and tweet counts. The breach potentially affects billions of accounts, but many may belong to bots or inactive users.
A hacker named ThinkingOne claims X experienced an even larger breach earlier this year, leaking 2.8 billion accounts in a 400GB file. By cross-referencing past leaks, ThinkingOne compiled a list of 201 million active users with exposed email addresses, raising concerns over phishing and cyberattacks. X has yet to acknowledge the breach, just days after Musk transferred ownership of the platform to his AI.
